Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Earth

who are You?

[Verily! I am The God! There is no god but I, so worship Me, & perform The prayers for My Remembrance. (Ta-Ha 20:14)”]

[(He is) The Lord of the two easts (places of sunrise during early summer and early winter) and The Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during early summer and early winter). (Ar-Rahman 55:17)]Universe

what’s Your Name?

[He is The God, than Whom there is no god but He, The All-Knower of the unseen & the seen He is The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. (Al-Hashr 59:22)]

[He is The God than Whom there is no god but He, The King, The Holy, The One Free from all defects, The Giver of security, The Watcher over His creatures, The All-Mighty, The Compeller, The Supreme. Glory be to The God! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him. (Al-Hashr 59:23)]

what shall I call You?

[He is The God, The Creator, The Inventor of all things, The Bestower of forms. To Him belong The Best Names. All that is in the heavens & the earth glorify Him. And He is The All-Mighty, The All-Wise. (Al-Hashr 59:24)]

where do You live?

[The Most Beneficent Rose Over The (Mighty) Throne. (Ta-Ha 20:5)]
[His Throne extends over the heavens & the earth. 2:255]

How old are You?

[I am The First & The Last. The Ever Living One Who dies not.]
[in the beginning there was The God & there was nothing before Him & His Throne was over water]

how often can I see You?

[And when Moses came at the time & place appointed by Us, & his Lord spoke to him, he said: O my Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You.” The God said: “You cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain if it stands still in its place then you shall see Me.” So when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He made it collapse to dust, & Moses fell down unconscious. Then when he recovered his senses he said: “Glory be to You, I turn to You in repentance & I am the first of the believers.” (Al-A’raf 7:143)”]

[No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is over all vision. He is The Most Subtle & Courteous, Well Acquainted with all things. (Al-An’am 6:103)]

if I can’t see You, what do You look like?

[The God is The Light of the heavens & the earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche & within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! The God guides to His Light whom He wills. And The God sets forth parables for mankind, & The God is All-Knower of everything. (An-Nur 24:35)]

[there is none like unto Him(112:4)]

do You work? what’s Your Job?

[The God is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then, He Rose above The Throne. He has subjected the sun & the moon! Each running (its course) for a term appointed. He regulates all affairs, explaining the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.]
[And it is He Who spread out the earth, & placed therein firm mountains & rivers & of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnain (two in pairs – two kinds two sorts, e.g. black & white, sweet & sour, small & big, etc.) He brings the night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these things, there are Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) for people who reflect.]
[And in the earth are neighboring tracts, & gardens of vines, & green crops (fields etc.), & date-palms, growing out two or three from a single stem root, or otherwise (one stem root for every palm), watered with the same water, yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Verily, in these things, there are Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs) for the people who understand.]

[He feels no fatigue in guarding & preserving them.]

[He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink & from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture;]

[With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, & every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof & a manifest sign for people who give thought.]

[And He has subjected to you the night & the day, the sun & the moon; & the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.]

[And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colors [& qualities from vegetation & fruits, etc. (botanical life) & from animal (zoological life)]. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember.]

[And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), & that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) & that you may be grateful.]

[And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, & rivers & roads, that you may guide yourselves.]

[And landmarks (signposts, etc. during the day) & by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves.]

When can we meet face to face, talk to each other?

[It is He, Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep), & has knowledge of all that you have done by day, then he raises (wakes) you up again that a term appointed (your life period) be fulfilled, then in the end unto Him will be your return. Then He will inform you what you used to do. (Al-An’am 6:60)]

can I talk to You till then, get to know You a little better?

[And when My slaves ask you concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near. I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me. So let them obey Me & believe in Me, so that they may be led aright. (Al-Baqarah 2:186)]

[On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, who said that The Prophet said: The God The Almighty said: I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; & if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm’s length, I draw near to him a cubit, & if he draws near to Me a cubit, I draw near to him a fathom. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed. It was related by al-Buhkari (also by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi & Ibn-Majah).]

[On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari from The Prophet is that among the sayings he relates from his Lord (may He be glorified) is that He said: O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself & have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me & I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me & I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me & I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night & by day, & I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me & I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, & will not attain benefitting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you & the last of you, the human of you & the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you & the last of you, the human of you & the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My Kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you & the last of you, the human of you & the jinn of you to rise up in one place & make a request of Me, & were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you & then recompense you for, so let him who finds good, praise The God, & let him who finds other than that, blame no one but himself. It was related by Muslim (also by at-Tirmidhi & Ibn Majah).]

[On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, who said that The Messenger of The God said: The God (mighty & sublime be He) will say on The Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I fell ill & you visited Me not. He will say: O Lord, & how should I visit You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-&-so had fallen ill & you visited him not? Did you not know that had you visited him you would have found Me with him? O son of Adam, I asked you for food & you fed Me not. He will say: O Lord, & how should I feed You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-&-so asked you for food & you fed him not? Did you not know that had you fed him you would surely have found that (the reward for doing so) with Me? O son of Adam, I asked you to give Me to drink & you gave Me not to drink. He will say: O Lord, how should I give You to drink when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: My servant So-&-so asked you to give him to drink & you gave him not to drink. Had you given him to drink you would have surely found that with Me. It was related by Muslim.]

[On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, who said that the Messenger of The God (ﷺ) said: The God (mighty & sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, & My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes & his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, & were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death & I hate hurting him. It was related by al-Bukhari.]
